Welcome to Railing-Pro’s FAQ section! Whether you're a contractor, builder, or homeowner, we’re here to make your stair and railing projects smoother with quick answers to common questions.

Ordering & Product Questions

Q: Do you sell to the general public or just to contractors and builders?
A: While we specialize in serving Contractors and Builders, anyone can purchase from Railing-Pro, however Contractors receive best pricing on the in-demand stocked items. For bulk pricing and project support, we recommend creating a Pro Account in the cart to receive our newsletter.

Q: Do you offer custom railing solutions?
A: Yes! Many of our railing systems, balusters, and stair kits can be customized by material, finish, size, or configuration. For a custom quote visit our Exterior Railing page and complete the Quote Request Form to receive pricing with a layout for Atlantis Spectrum, NOVA, ORION, RailFX and AFCO-Rail products. We can also provide a Spiral Staircase configuration, just send us your floor-to-floor height.

Shipping & Delivery

Q: Do you offer jobsite delivery in the Atlanta area?
A: Yes! We offer local jobsite delivery throughout Metro Atlanta. Choose "Jobsite Delivery" at checkout or contact us for scheduling details. Minimums apply.

Q: What shipping options do you offer outside of Atlanta?
A: We ship via UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight across the U.S. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Most in-stock orders ship within 3-5 business days. 

Q: Do you offer warehouse pickup?
A: Yes, local customers can pick up orders at our Alpharetta warehouse. Just select “Local Pickup” at checkout.

Payments & Returns

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit cards and PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We can also send secure payment links for custom orders.

Q: Can I return or exchange my order?
A: We have a 30 day return policy, however we do not accept returns of custom items or product shipped by LTL Transport. You can view our complete shipping and return policy here: Shipping & Returns

Product Support & Installation

Q: Do you offer installation services?
A: Installation services are available in the Atlanta metro area. We also provide install guides and videos on our product pages.

Q: Are your products code-compliant?
A: Yes. Our railing systems meet or exceed IRC U.S. residential and commercial building codes. Please check with your local inspector for specific requirements.

Q: Where can I find installation instructions?
A: Installation PDFs and videos are available on most product pages. You can also contact us if you need help locating them.

Spiral Stair Kits

Q: What measurements are needed to select a spiral staircase?
A: Measure the finished surface floor-to-floor height and the size of the upper floor opening called the well opening. Ideally you want the top landing to be flush to the floor.

Q: Do spiral stairs have color and material options?
A: Yes, both wood and metal options. Wood steps can be pre finished in natural or walnut color. Metal column and balusters can be black, white, gray or custom powder-coated. Wood handrail is optional.

Q: Can spiral stairs be installed outside?
A: Yes, structure steel should be both galvanized and powder-coated to resist corrosion and rust. Fasteners are made with 316 stainless steel for low-maintenance application. Aluminum can also resist corrosion, but has limited performance around salt-water. We recommend annual maintenance to ensure the powder-coat seal (color) is in-tack.
