Classic, Low-Profile and Round Options for 1/2", 9/16" and 5/8" Square and Round Iron Balusters

When replacing balusters, Base Shoes cover the footprint for a clean finished look. Base Shoes are typically 1-1/4 inch wide and come in many styles in both round and square. The inside opening must match the iron baluster size and shape. For example for 5/8 inch width balusters you will need a base shoe with 5/8 opening either round or square. Typically base shoes are glued in place with Epoxy, the last step in the installation process.
